The C3 Rules engine is incredibly versatile due to its Domain Specific Language (DSL) capabilities. The first use case for our rules engine will be standards that Basel released for cryptoasset exposures. In the future we intend to address regulations such as EU’s MiCA, and national virtual assets frameworks.
C3 Rules specializes in the classification of cryptoassets based on regulatory frameworks including but not limited to tokenized assets, stablecoins, unbacked cryptoassets, and cryptoasset ETF/ETNs. Regulators will require disclosures regarding how banks make cryptoasset classification decisions. C3 Rules makes it easier for banks to stay compliant.
C3 Rules classification system will differentiate whether a cryptoasset falls under MiCA or MiFID II. This informs regulatory requirements by the cryptoasset issuer based on their national laws. In addition, C3 Rules identities the specific type of MiCA instrument the cryptoasset should be classified under. Compliance reports show how classification decisions are made.
